So today I wanted to share some favorite layouts with you from 2010!
This is also one of my favorite photos of 2010, so much so that I have it on a 16x20 canvas in my bedroom!! I love this layout because of the distressing of the blue paper and the stitching on it.
This is also the last layout I did in 2010 and is a digital layout. I shared some of my favorite photos in sepia tone and bunched them all together like they were tucked in the band of paper.
A fun thing that I have done a few times this last year was to make an 8x10 collage photo, many of which I got free through promotions on the online photo printing sites. This one captures Trevor living life in full color...love this little guy!!
We dont get alot of rain in So Cal...with the exception of the last few weeks, so when it does rain its a chance to get out and play with the umbrellas! This next layout is also digital and one of the first I did in 2010, how fitting, first one was digital and last one was digital! I love this shot first, but even more I love how the blending of the photo to the background paper came out.
This one is a great reminder of an awesome trip we took to Morro Bay with Trevor. I really love how the flowers on the top came out, they were cut from patterned paper and cut to appear like petals lifting.
This next one is one of the many canvas's that I did last year and by far the largest. It is 16x20 and I love it for all the techniques I used on this one, its bumpy and lumpy and fabulous!!
This next layout was created in response to a challenge to use a long title, I love that I used a bunch of different alphas! This layout also uses one of my favorite photos of the year, Trevor's response to being behind the waterfall in Aunt Rachel's pool.
This next layout is a super simple one, which I really like and is hard for me to pull off but I loved using the paint on the background paper. This layout is the last paper one I created in 2010 and this one just has so much character, I was inspired by Jenna's expression and just went with it. I love how the roses on the paper strip came out!
And one last one for ya.......This is a favorite of mine because of the journaling strips I created by rolling back a strip of paper from the background paper. And hey, what do you know, it has ME in it!!!
I thoroughly enjoyed working with The Scrapping Spot, Treasured Scrapbooking, Best Creation Inc, Epiphany Crafts, and Helmar as a guest, thank you for allowing me to create and inspire you in 2010!!! Going forward to 2011 I will continue to work with The Scrapping Spot, Best Creation Inc and Epiphany Crafts, and hope to add another during the year!
Thanks for visiting!
Happy New Year!!!
