Digi update!!! I have been crazy busy!!

I am keeping up with the Digi Designers!! I hope anyway! Got lots to show you!
First up....Sandrak Designs has a cute cute cute holiday kit A Jolly Season, so whimsical and fun!! I had to dip back into last years Christmas pics, but its been fun looking back. This is Trevor looking in wonder at the Christmas Tree, while in his cute feetsy jammies!

I also made my Christmas card with A Jolly Season, it features my Grandkids, Jenna, Trevor and Jeromy, I love to send out a little photo card with them on it since they are such a big part of my life. I made them in 4 x 6 size and uploaded them to Costco, who can beat 13 cents?? Great deal!

I love working with Anita Stergiou's kits!!! I used the Chromatic Summer kit and Sketch Plate 20 to do this layout with Katy and Jeromy on the carousal at Ventura Harbor, believe it or not this was taken in November, we are experiencing unusually high temperatures for this time of the year, I mean really who wears tank tops and flip flops in November??

Here is something I am really thankful for....my 25 year old daughter reading for pleasure!!! I am a reader and I think everyone should read!! I read the Twilight series a while back and when the movie came out I took my daughters, they loved it so much they are both reading the series. I used a Designs by Helly kit - Midnight in the Garden, love this kit!! You can get it at Bouquet of Pixels!!

This next kit is Caitlyn by Kandy Kane Creations. I couldnt believe my luck when I saw the colors!!! I had just taken a series of photos of the kiddos at the park and they were wearing these exact colors, and the green of the park coordinated great!!

And thats what I can SHOW you right now....see ya tomorrow with my Treasured Scrapbooking December 1st reveal...you wont want to miss it!!!

Midnight in the Garden

I knew when I took this picture at the park last week that it would make a very special layout.....and I was not wrong. I got Helly's - Midnight in the Garden kit to work with as Creative Team work, you can get it at Bouquet of Pixels, and at first I thought it was so cool, then when I began looking for a photo for it I became intimidated....until I remembered the photo of my Grands.......... I LOVE THIS LAYOUT!!! Definately needs to be framed, without a doubt. I was so excited I HAD to share it with you all.........

Bouquet of Pixels

A BRAND NEW STORE!!!
The store is being loaded, the Creative Team and the Designers are busy loading the gallery with samples............and Bouquet of Pixels is having a big SALE!!! Check it out:

I just finished working with a kit by Serene by RW - Agate Marbles, here are a couple of layouts I did:

Although its not a Christmas kit, the colors work great together so I scrapped some pictures of Jeromy from last year!

And this one is Trevor, he is my barefoot grand kid, so shoes are something he is NOT used to, I thought this was so cute of him at the park trying to figure out what was going on with his feet!!

And then one more from Sue Wood's kit - Dragon Flower. I just loved how well it matched with Jenna's dress in this picture.

So be sure to check out the new store and the big sale!!! And coming in December you will want to visit daily for a free download a day ;)

Filled with Bo Bunny and Kaiser Craft goodness you cant go wronG. I just love the black white and green color combo, so striking!

And this is what I did with this awesome kit:

Jeromy at the neighborhood park....I promise that I didnt dress him to coordinate with the park colors but I love that it happened!!

New Digi Work!!!

Three new layouts!!! I am really enjoying this Creative team work!!

First up, this is Pucker Up Princess, I created this using the Dragon Flowers Digital kit by Sue Wood which you can pick up at Bouquet of Pixels, and I highly recommend that you do! The colors are so pretty, you will love it!!! This is actually Jenna getting ready for Halloween, she didnt have her hair sprayed yet, it was red, but she is just adorable!

Next up is All American Boy, I used the Brenda Smith Designs digital kit Romance and Blues and you can get this kit at Digital Candy. Oh yeah.....I am on Brenda Smith Designs Creative Team!!! I love the red and turquoise combo...and kraft! The detail here is amazing, the glitter and bling looks so real you can hardly tell it is digital! I also used a Kiara template by Brenda Smith. The alpha is by Miss Mint - Vintage Mix.

And last but certainly not least is Joy, I used a new kit by Kandy Kane Creations called Funk-e. The colors are amazing!!! I love the blue/green/brown/beige color combo and you should see all of the elements you get with this kit, insane!!! You could easily create layout after layout without them being too similar. You can pick up this dream of a kit at Kandy Kane Creations.

New Creative Team Work for SandraK Designs

I am doing work for SandraK Designs!! I love her kits, the colors are so pretty and vibrant, and the texture is so realistic, you can barely tell my layout is digital! Today I downloaded a few kits to begin my work and I am in love!! I used the Daisy Fields kit, it was perfect for the photos of Jenna at the pumpkin patch because she was wearing yellow that day. You can check out SandraK Designs kits at Pretty Scrappy!

Here is another I did of Jeromy at school using Sandra's Back to Cool kit. I had to go out and search the net for a chalkboard font and I found Eraser by David Rakowski, perfect!!! The title came about after I made the photos into circles, love when things come together like that.

Just full of news today!
Treasured Scrapbooking does their Design Team Search every 6 months and every position is open so the departing Design Team has to reapply. Today was the announcement of the new team and I was so relieved that my name was there....you have no idea!! I have the perfect balance with my Creative Teams, Design Team and Guest spots.....no one mess with it or I will cry!! So the new team announcement and other special announcements that Leslie made this morning:

The new Design Team is (in no particular order):

Shirley (Shirley)
Tracey (TraceyT)
and our new DT members:
Laura (laurajean)
Abbie (AbbieT)

and.......another special announcement.....

I have created a new DT position that I've been wanting to do for awhile and that is Instructor/Moderator who will be responsible for designing a new monthly project/technique kit and hosting online classes on the board and also helping me with admin upkeep of the store/board/gallery and that person is none other than our very own.....Erin Gudge!! I'm very excited about this - we still have the first project in the works but stay tuned for more details on this kit to be debuted sometime in December!!

and another very special announcement.......

I would also like to announce that we had two runners-up in the DT call that I just did not have enough spaces for on this term's DT but I am thrilled to announce that they will both be honoring TS as Guest Designers for December. Yep!! Two Guest Designers for December!! These two GDTs will be:

Aimee V. (aimee)
Dawn (ScrapnnMO)

and last but not least, I am thrilled that Amanda will be continuing on in the position of Design Team Coordinator!! She does such an amazing job keeping everything on track and I'm so excited to have her continue for another term!!

I am very excited to work with these ladies for the next 6 months and I am very sad to see Sarah, JoEllyn, Dolores and Michelle go :( but I know they will stick around!!

Up next, I did another layout with a kit from Anita Stergiou, the design is a lift of my friend Shirley, and the kit is Krafty Chic which you can get here. I love working with Anita's stuff, I just cant say enough about it, this is quality and class, awesome papers and elements, I am in heaven!!! The block frame is by Miss Mint - Extreme Stamped Blocks. And this is my free soul, granddaughter Jenna, I just delight in catching her on "film" like this:

News....and changes

I have been thinking about it for a while, and yesterday I did something about it. A new goal, a different arena, a big step, a new direction. I have been scrapbooking about 3 years, traditional paper and glue and ......... well you know, lots of stuff, pretty stuff though! I began digital scrapbooking about a year ago, took some classes here and there, bought some books and completed the Jessica Sprague Digital series of classes. I am currently about 50 - 50 between the two, which is where I intend to stay right now. I had been thinking that it would be fun to be on some Creative Teams for digital designers and yesterday I decided to do something about it!! I found a great resource at Just Digital Calls and I applied for two of the calls...........and I GOT THEM BOTH, within hours!!!! If that's not a boost to your confidence I don't know what is!! Then I found a section where you could post an ad, like a classified ad, in search of Creative Team work. I filled out a resume like form and submitted it. The site creator approved the ad..........AND OFFERED ME A POSITION ON HER TEAM!!!

So I have 3 Creative Team positions as of today and they are for:
Anita Stergiou Designs
Kandy Kane Kreations
SandraK Designs

I love digital work, its so versatile and so easy to fit into a busy life as long as you have a laptop!!! I love my little pink laptop!!!

Meanwhile I decided to resign from SCrap N Art ezine for personal reasons.

So I leave you with my first CT work for Kandy Kane Kreations: Using her For Nienie kit which you can purchase here. its a charity kit and you can read the story behind the need for support.

Its an exciting day for me!!!! WOO HOO !!!!!!

Stay tuned...........

for some big changes, some awesome news and a toot or two or three or.............
see ya later this afternoon!!
