Pink Paislee Advent Calendar

So I had to make THREE advent calenders......3 grandkids, means 3 of everything! I had alot of fun making these, they go pretty fast actually. Today I had the kids help me with loading up the muffin tins with a treat for each day....they really enjoyed that :) Again these are not my original idea, I have seen them everywhere and most recently on my friend Lara's blog. For this one I used the Pink Paislee Mistletoe & Co line of papers:

Rusty Pickle Projects

I have been working with my favorite product......RUSTY PICKLE of course!!

My first project is an advent calendar made from a 24 cup mini muffin pan. The date squares are magnitized to stick to the pan allowing for treats to be put in each cup and covered up with the date square. I admit this is not my original idea, I have seen it many places and when my friend Lara started creating them I was very inspired to make my own. I used various Rusty Pickle papers and trims, and added foam stickers from JoAnns, various trims and buttons from my stash, stickles and I cut the numbers with my Cricut. Magnet strips on the back hold everything in place.

My next project is some magnets for the kiddos to give their parents for Christmas. I used as a base Bazzill Flower Chipboard, Rusty Pickle Mayflower line and these cute little flowers from Creative Charms.

And I did a layout with some of my favorite pictures of Jenna. I just love red, white and blue!!

Thanks for checking out my projects!!

Treasured Scrapbooking

Treasured Scrapbooking is my home online message board, I arrived here about 2 1/2 years ago for the annual Treasured Hunt contest and it quickly sucked me in and has yet to spit me out. I did a year on the design team and then took over the Design Team Coordinator position and I am now entering my second term doing that. I love it! Earlier this month our fearless leader Leslie decided to sell the site and my good friend Erin bought it. I have been asked to stay on as DT Coordinator, WOO HOO, and this morning Erin announced a new DT which will begin in January:
The New DT:

Julie Walton- DT Coordinator Extraordinaire
Eva Dobilas- Card Designer

Ginger Graham
Morag Cutts
Elizabeth Carney
Jenni Smith
Lisa Woodhart
Pauline Dirrig (Polinka)

and Jennifer French has agreed to be our January Guest Designer!

Some VERY talented ladies here, cant wait to see what they create, I've had a look at their blogs and I can say I AM INSPIRED!!

December will be Erin's kits debut. She has chosen to keep with Leslies format and produce 2 kits for December only. In January she will create one kit and have add ons!!! I have worked with one of the kits for December and I can tell you....its almost gone!!! Here are a few sneaks of the work I have done so far:

I will be back around the 1st to post my reveals for Treasured Scrapbooking!!

Be back in a few days to post some Rusty Pickle goodness :)

Boy I am a terrible Blogger!!!

So not like me at all! But in my defense I did go to Utah earlier this month for the Rusty Pickle Chefs annual retreat so was gone part of the time :) When we flew in there was no snow but on the way up the mountain to the cabin it began to snow, I so love watching it snow!! We got about 4 inches and then it snowed on and off all weekend so there was snow all the time. We had alot of great adventures getting to the cabin and driving in the snow. One night got down to like 10 degrees, that was the night that the sodas we stored outside (why take up refrigerator room) either froze solid or exploded! If you wanted a drink you had to bring it in and set it by the fire place to thaw out, lol! I got some pictures of the snow and the area surrounding the cabin, other than that I was busy scrapping :)

and one last shot to share with you, the Grand Canyon from the air :)

Cant wait for next year!!

Digi Goodness!!!

I havent had a lot of time to create with paper lately, my weekends have been busy and I did a 10 day stint as stand in for my daughter Kari while she and her hubby went on a vacation...with no kids. Towards the end of their trip Trevor got sick and couldnt go with the other Grandma for the weekend. So what I could do is......digi scrap :) That makes me happy.

Here are a few that I have done this last month:
