Best Creation Inc Submission
Thanks to my dear friend Noeleen a Design Team call for Best Creation Inc was brought to my attention. Oh my gosh where I have I been, what rock was I hiding under??? The papers are beyond amazing! I love love love the glitter embossing on these papers....are you kidding me?? I did get a chance to see the papers in real life at CHA Chicago and they are even better when you can touch and see them......SOLD!!! The booth at CHA Chicago was really hopping with an awesome make n take and all of the people in the booth were super busy taking orders everytime I came around....how cool is that???
Anyway I would love to share my projects with you!! My favorite line is Surf's Up, check it out:
I created my altered item and my card with this line:
I used a Embroidery Hoop for my altered item, all you have to do is wet a sheet of paper slightly and place it between the two hoops like you would fabric and push the hoops back together and tighten. When the paper dries it is as tight as a drum and a dream to work on!
I also created a birthday card with this line:
With one of their Halloween lines I created this layout:
I used my Epiphany Crafts Shape Studio to make the little epoxy hearts, just love how you can make custom embellies with this!
I love the graphics on the papers, you can leave the paper whole......or....you can cut it up!!! Plus who doesnt love Bling???
Wish me luck!!!

The Scrapping Spot for August
The Scrapping Spot is featuring the Fancy Pants line, Like Father, Like Son!!! I just love the deep rich grungy colors of this kit and truly had a blast working with it. Paired with Distress Stickles in Blue Jean, blingy buttons, Prima bling in black, filmstrip trim and Tim Holtz metal charms it is a hit out of the park!!
This kit is available so stop on over to the Scrapping Spot and grab yours before they are gone!
Here are my layouts and cards I created from this kit:
This layout has some Epiphany Crafts Shape Studio hearts on it, just love this tool!
And as I was cleaning my scrap table (gasp!) this layout just kinda fell together, most is from the kit with a few other scraps from my table and stash!

Treasured Scrapbooking for August
Treasured Scrapbooking has an out of the box, wild and crazy kit for the month of August. This kit features some Sassafras Lass, Cosmo Cricket, Prima, Hambly and Jenni Bowlin just to name a few. I had a great time working with it as it was.......ANYTHING GOES!! Pretty much everything went together in a funky kind of way and I ended up with a bunch of fun and crazy layouts. Also Treasured Scrapbooking is sponsering a week of challenges over at Willow Traders so alot of the design team members made samples for the challenges with the August kit, so dont forget to check out Willow Traders for the August THAW (Three layouts a Week)challenge week starting August 8.
So let me share the layouts I did and a few of the challenges :)
This is the Life - THAW challenge at Willow Traders
Use the colors of your garden.....and add a little brown to represent earth. My garden is a flower garden so I used bright colors, green for foliage and my brown is the burlap.
Coach
Brat Kid -THAW Willow Traders Challenge - Use school related materials for a non school layout. The August kit for Treasured Scrapbooking is perfect for this challenge, lots of lined papers and school related images. I went with my bratty picture of Trevor from his 4th birthday :)
My Altered item for the month
We got a cute little paper mache type of birdhouse, a great canvas for whatever your creative mind can think up! I painted it, crackled it with Helmar Crackle Medium, inked it, added some paper punches and epoxy's that I created with my Epiphany Crafts Shape Studio (Heart 14).
Yep, thats the backside of a Waterfall - Willow Traders THAW challenge - Sketch
Erin created a sketch for the challenge and stated that the title needed to be long, worked out perfect for the series of photos I used :) I added some of the little heart epoxy's that I created with my Epiphany Crafts Shape Studio (heart 14). I love how they make such a cute touch to any layout!
The Zoo
This is a challenge over at Treasured Scrapbooking for the month of August - to use crayons on your layout:
Lots of Cuddles
I had fun sharing my creations with you and hope that you enjoyed spending some time with me :)
