A New Venture for Me

I have taken the plunge into being a digital designer, well as far as making templates goes!!! I was accepted as a designer at Bouquet of Pixels!!!! My designer name is gotJPEGs? and I have my first group of templates up in the store as of today!! Tomorrow there will be a freebie on the Bouquet of Pixels blog, so dont forget to check that out to pick up your new freebie!!

Project 365 - 52 layouts

I found two awesome items for these layouts......first off is the new kit by Anita Stergiou called Brand New Day, it has some awesome flair in it that speaks of "days" which is so perfect for this project!!! I love the colors and different textures of elements in this kit, shiny finishes, feathers, sparklers, very unique buttons, cute birdies, awesome I say! And second I picked up some templates from Suzy Q Scraps - capture life collection which is perfect for these layouts with 7 pics!!
So this is week 7:

One of my Favorite Pics of all time

I was super lucky with this shot! There is, or was, a tree in our park that due to the wind grew pretty much sideways, it was a full grown tree and no more than 5-6 feet off the ground but almost totally horizontal, anyway it was a tree that you could just walk along for a long ways, my grandkids loved it. One of the days we were at the park I caught this shot:

I love that they are walking up the tree trunk in order of age, they are basically a year apart, look just like stair steps! You are probably wondering why is she posting this......I wanna win a spot in Jessica Spragues new Class - Photo Editing: Good-to-Great Workflow! Wish me luck!!!

My Memory Makers Publication

Finally today I got a copy of the Memory Makers Magazine in which I have a publication!!! Practically everyone has seen it but me!!!!! Nothing so thrilling than seeing your name in print and your work in a magazine!!!! The fun thing about this one is that not only is it my layout but it is also a template I made and the font is my handwriting!!! This was for Trevors 2nd birthday, check it out:

MoonDesigns at Bouquet of Pixels

I have been playing with a kit by MoonDesigns called Classy Me, available at Bouquet of Pixels. I have to say the colors are awesome together and very rich, great texture. The elements are so realistic, love the ivy and staples and stitching, this is one awesome kit, check it out:

Treasured SCrapbooking Feb 1 Reveal

I just dont know how Leslie at Treasured Scrapbooking does it, kit after kit after kit, two kits a month no less and she knocks them out of the park everytime!! I love the mixture of products and manufacturers she puts together and February is no exception. Check out kit # 2:

Project 365 Week 5

O MY GOODNESS I have so many blog posts I need to do!!!! Good thing its raining!!! I have been trying to use a digital kit that I have gotten the same week as I do the layout, so this week I used Designs by Helly - I'll Fly Away , and the frame is by A Work in Progress - Vicki and was a freebie today.....so perfect for a weekly layout theme!!!
