Epiphany Crafts and Bo Bunny

Are a great combination!!! Throw in some Helmar adhesive products and you are all set ;)

I just received some yummmy Bo Bunny papers from their newest lines AND best of all I got a shipment from Epiphany Crafts which included 3 of the new tools!!! I find the Bo Bunny papers to be very inspiring, even though I can work with any papers I do believe that these are among my favorites to work with...they inspire me so :)

My Epiphany Crafts shipment included
The Button Studio Round 14

The Button Studio Flower 20

The Shape Studio Heart 14

I haven't used the Heart Shape tool yet, but I have great plans for my project which will feature what this tool can do :)

I have to say these tools will be close at hand all the time and will, already have, become a go to tool for me whether it be for that one thing that is missing on my project or part of the overall design. The tools are super easy to work and are super quick, the buttons and shapes make a statement and there is no end to the possibilities. I cannot recommend them more!

My first project is an old vintage cigar box that my mom found while cleaning out the garage. I jumped at the offer for this beauty! The graphic on the front of the box was so beautiful, so I chose to use it in my design. I used alot of techniques on this box, including crumpling and soaking the paper, applying Helmar Crackle Medium, inking and decoupaging with Helmar Decoupage and Craft Paste. I was shooting for the old vintage feel and the combination of the Bo Bunny Block Party papers and the techniques worked like a charm. I used the Epiphany Crafts Button Studio for the star buttons, using the Bo Bunny paper, and the centers of a couple of the flowers, they were the perfect touch!

Next I created a layout using the Bo Bunny line, Sun Kissed. I so love finding a paper with the suns rays!! There is so much you can do with the rays design wise. For this layout I cut the suns rays and kept them attached at the circle of the sun, I then used my crimper on the rays...what a great texture and effect it gave, I love it!! I used the Epiphany Crafts Button Studio in the flower shape for the final WOW this layout needed and I was not disappointed in the results!! Using coordinating and contrasting papers was the perfect touch for these buttons!

These hot little tools are set to ship in August! Check out the Blog to get more details on availability and for other inspiring ideas. You might even want to be a follower ;)

Upload your layout to the the Splash into Summer Crop catagory in the gallery and then link it back to this thread!

A Surprise Cyber Crop at Treasured Scrapbooking!!!

Is starting tomorrow - Saturday and we would love to see some new faces.....and some old too :)

this is what Erin has to say:

I think it's time to celebrate! SOOOOOOOO, let's Spring Into Summer, Splash Into Summer, or Charge Stubbornly Into Summer!!!!! The weather here is just awful, we've only had a couple of sunny days, but I'm going to charge stubbornly ahead anyway!

I am holding a SURPRISE CYBERCROP starting tomorrow! There will be prizes and games and challenges!

The first challenge starts RIGHT NOW, though!

Go find some of your online scrappy friends who don't already hang out here and invite them to come play with us! I will do a prize drawing for the people who bring in some new members to the party! If the person was previously registered but wandered off, that's fine too. I just want a lot of people at this party. Smile

The crop will go until next Sunday night, most of the festivities will occur during the weekend, but I might throw some surprises in here and there, and some quick challenges as well.

So, go get your shorts and sunglasses and flip flops! It's time to PARTY!!!!!!!

My Little Shoebox

So I rarely let anyone know when I am submitting to a Design Team call, but this time I really love my projects....well I always love my projects, and I decided what the heck, share them why dontcha!!! I hope I dont jinx myself!!

I had to do two layouts, a card and an altered project. I had a limited amount of MLS product but enough to create some magic!

So my favorite is a mini that I did, I used a Kaisercraft mini album and the MLS line Marmalade and told the story of how I "inherited" my little puppy Ariel:

I used the MLS line In the Garden for both layouts:

Cards....ughhhh, not usually my thing but they asked for it, I used the MLS line
Imagine a Forest:

I had a fun time doing the projects for this submission, working with the papers MLS creates just makes me smile. I am sure the talent applying for this call is over the top, but you never know.....and besides I got some great projects out of it, ones that I will cherish and will be cherished by others, so its all good!

Treasured Scrapbooking's May Kit

is now available at the Treasured Scrapbooking store!! I love how Erin mixes and matches so many different manufacturers in her kits and this month does not disappoint. She has mixed October Afternoon, Making Memories, Jenni Bowlin, and Crate Paper! Check it out:
Thriftshop Treasures

So far I have created a layout and an altered Comp Book:

I cant wait to dig into it again next weekend, so many possibilities :)
