Playing at the Resolutions Crop at Treasured Scrapbooking!

Today is day 3 of the Crop at Treasured Scrapbooking, featuring New Year's Resolutions!!!

My challenge is called "GO GREEN" and is a challenge to use a recycled item in your layout/card or altered project. I used the packaging from the Prima flowers I got in my add on January kit from Treasured Scrapbooking, and I used the January kit also for my layout:

and so far I have done one other challenge, "Quality Time" which Elizabeth issued. You are to scrap what Quality Time is for you. I chose Daughter time!!! And I was so excited to see that Basic Grey offers five of their paper lines and all the embellishments in........DIGITAL!!!! So that is what I used to create this layout:

Arent they cute? Love them dearly!! Proud mama here ;)

Would LOVE to see you over at Treasured SCrapbooking for this crop....and who knows you might just love it there and stick around for a while...I would love it if you did!!

Its time for a Crop!!!!

At Treasured Scrapbooking!!!

Hope you will join us!!

It's a Resolutions Crop at Treasured Scrapbooking!!!
Jan 7 2010 through Jan 10 2010

It's a new year and a time to reflect on the past year and plan for the new year. Not everyone makes resolutions every year but most everyone has some thoughts about things they would like to accomplish, things they might want to make a better effort at and things they might want to change, and usually the beginning of each new year is a time when these thoughts come to mind. So we, at Treasured Scrapbooking, are going to go with the flow, and hope that you will join us for the ride! So whether you make resolutions, steer yourself towards a focus or create an Ideal Scene for yourself, we will have challenges for you to complete that will allow you to get them down on paper...and glue, and embellishments, and....well you get the idea :)

Each Design Team member has chosen a resolution of sorts to work on and some of the ideas you will see have something to do with:

Weight Loss
Go Green
Clean
Budget
Volunteering
Organize
Quality Time

You will love the way the Design Team has interpreted the themes above! And as if completing new challenges and new pages or cards isn't enough, there will be prizes too!!!

I know you are intrigued, so mark your calendars, add it to your list of things to do, and get yourself on over to Treasured Scrapbooking on January 7th to join in on the fun!

Where: Treasured Scrapbooking http://www.treasuredscrapbooking.com/
When: January 7 to 10th, 2010

What to bring: Yourself and your supplies :)

Hope to see you there!

Best of 2009

Usually you do the top ten of something, and I intended to do the top ten layouts from 2009 but when I started looking back I couldnt limit myself like that, so this is going to be my favorite projects because some of them are paper layouts, some of them are digital layouts and some are altered projects. I love doing this, really makes me smile :)
A kind of All About me:

During the summer I ran the Rusty Pickle Amazing Race and this is one of my favorite projects from it:

I did this fun little project for a Rusty Pickle Blog Hop, using an embroidery hoop:

I love this picture of my mom and Jenna and I created this layout on a canvas, my mom loves it!

Just a fav layout:

Some layouts from my DT work at Treasured Scrapbooking:

This layout has a story behind it, it was a challenge, to close your eyes and choose 5 items from your stash. My stash is so ginormas that I chose some random stuff and had my daughter close her eyes and choose, and I have to say it is one of my favorite layouts!

I love this quick little project, just a cute altered frame:

I am so not a card maker but I loved this card:

And on to some digital layouts:

and I did a December Daily this year:

This layout was therapy for me, I lost my 9 year old pug in April of this year, held her a she was put to sleep, and I did this layout the night it happened, I still miss her:

And if you stuck with me on this and have reached this far I commend you :)
