10-10-10 with Epiphany Crafts

So....its October 10, 2010, 10-10-10!!!  I often wonder how many babies are going to be born on this day, kinda like 7-7-07, my grandson Trevor missed that one by exactly one year.  The date has brought alot of inspiration to the scrapping community, and Epiphany Crafts is definately one that is having fun with this date!!!  EC is giving away 10 items on their FaceBook page so be sure that you are a fan and keep your eyes peeled for their giveaways!!

I did a layout in honor of 10-10-10, 10 funny Trevor faces!  The collage of photos is a freebie print that I got from Walgreens, and I used Best Creation papers.....with the Epiphany Crafts Shape Studio round epoxy's and the layout is a great one for Trevors book:

I hope you do something fun and memorable for 10-10-10!!
Have a great day!!!!

Best Creation Projects!!

I am throughly enjoying working with Best Creation papers and embellies, the quality and glitters and embossing are unbeatable, and talk about the glitter paper, wow, never seen anything like it, its super glittery and it doesnt come off all over the place, cant beat that!!!  So I wanted to share some projects that I have done over the past month!

Best Creation papers just lend themselves to fussy cutting...so many opportunities!!

Loved the combination of the apple paper and the flag paper for this back to school photo of Jenna......doing the flag salute.
I got this great die cut treat boxes from my good friend Liz and loved making these Halloween Goodie boxes for my Grandkids....and I have to say, they LOVED them!
This layout uses alot of the glitter cardstock and it is so awesome to work with...I highly recommend it!!
A fun way to make a banner, punch circles, fold in half and staple onto some sort of string or ribbon, I used bakers twine.
I found a pattern for a topiary when I was moving and decided to make one to hang for Halloween, using the Cricut made it so much easier too! If you are interested in the pattern, I found it HERE look on the right side under free patterns.

I love the autumn papers and fell in love with the sunflower one, glittery and perfect for cutting and layering...and using my Epiphany Crafts Button studio for that extra little touch!
I have some fun projects lined up for Christmas with Best Creation papers, wait till you see them!!!  I even did my December Daily with them.....so be sure to stop back by...or become a follower so you dont miss anything ;)

A new month.....and two new kits from the Scraptastic Club!!!!  I just love the clever names that Jessica came up with, Nightmare on my Street, featuring the MME line for Halloween, and Saturday in the Park, featuring the American Crafts, Crate and Cosmo Cricket.  Check them out:

I got Nightmare on my Street and had a blast working with the Halloween and Pumpkin Patch pictures from last year!  I got alot out of this kit...and still have some good scraps left :)  Check out my layouts and cards I got done:

There were so many embellies in this kit and so many opportunities to do some fussy cutting that you can get a whole lot out of this kit....dont miss it!!

Imaginisce October Sketch Entry!

I ran into the Imaginisce Blog Hop yesterday and totally fell in love with the Monthly Sketch challenge and all of the great examples on each of the design teams blog....what great layouts they all did!  I have had two kits recently that featured Imaginisce lines and had some great scraps left...perfect for the sketch!

For my layout I used the Birthday Bash line which was featured at the Scraptastic Club for September:

and this is the sketch I took my inspiration from (by Cindy Stevens)
