Its time for a holiday blog hop with the Rusty Pickle Chefs! If you have arrived here by chance and would like to start at the beginning, check out the Rusty Pickle blog, and dont forget to leave a comment on the RP blog about your favorite project on the blog hop for a fabulous picklicious prize. Before I start I would like to ask everyone for their thoughts and prayers for a fellow chef, Rachelle and her family. Rachelle's husband was in a major car accident a few days ago and has been in critical condition, he showed some improvement last night, so hopefully that will continue.
My project came about via a discarded mat from a frame I bought. I didnt need the mat but I kept it thinking that I could probably do something with it....it didnt sit long :) You could do this with any mat, they are realitivily inexpensive and a sturdy base to work from. This is my Joy wall hanging:

I used the Rusty Pickle Snowflakes & Mittens line, Alpha Cardboard, buttons and fabric and chipboard. Other products used: Stickles, Glimmer Mist and Dew Drops.
Some quick instructions are:
Cover mat with paper.
Tie fabric, or ribbon around the top of the frame to use as the hanger.
Apply paper to the back of the frame to cover the opening.
Decorate the outside of the frame as you wish.
****Bonus****
Leave a comment on this blog post for a chance, actually two chances, to win one of the ornaments I made with the Rusty Pickle line White Christmas and the Grinch-Mas chipboard ornaments!
Dont forget to leave a comment :)
Now you are ready to move on to Pamela's Blog and a big dose of eye candy....I love her work :)
